BULENT BUYUKSAYAR

Bulent is the founder of SmartStarts Consultancy LTD which produces turnkey HR projects for customers from various sectors across UK, Europe and Turkey.

He has 18 years of corporate experience. He is an accredited assessment and development center assessor. Also his specialties can be summarized as Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding, Strategic Human Resources Management, Organisational Development and n Job Architecture Framework.

With Arcelik (Beko), his human resources career started. He was a senior business partner who was responsible of more than 1000 employees and managers in the Consumer Services, R&D and Production Technologies functions. Later, he played a key role in Arçelik’s creation of the global employer brand, and also established the global talent acquisition process.

He was also the project manager of implementation of BMW’s Global Retail HR systems to Turkey BMW dealers.

Bulent has bachelor’s degree in Market Research & Advertising and also Labor Economics & Industrial Relations.

MELTEM OZEN

Meltem works as a Human Resources Consultant in SmartStarts Consultancy for recruitment, business development and management of social media processes.

After graduating from Haliç University, American Culture and Literature and the University of Warsaw, Department of American Studies (Erasmus), she worked in the human resources department at Manpower, Dimes, Danone Waters and Akinon. She experienced recruiting, candidate and talent pooling, competency-based interviews, talent management, employer branding and organisational development.

Meltem is also a freelance translator and writer, and also she continues her Human Resources Management degree at Anadolu University .

EYLEM ATILGAN

Eylem is a highly experienced HR Professional with 18 years of experience in action, international recruitment and head – hunting.

Throughout his corporate career, she actively participated in global recruitment agencies and projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, America and Asia.  She led the recruitment and sales teams as well.

She is also the founder of Conexus International Recruitment, with offices in Istanbul and London, and has experience in international recruitment not only in major economies but also in emerging markets such as Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Algeria and Nigeria.

With her experience in establishing long-term business relationships, she has a portfolio that includes prestigious, leading multinational companies, especially in the fields of O&G, Construction, IT and Telecommunications.

Graduated from Istanbul University and has a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is certified in Competency Based Interview by DDI. In addition to her native Turkish, she speaks English and Spanish.

GULRIZ KASBAS

She started her career in Human Resources Department of a textile company and continued as a Research Assistant at Istanbul University Faculty of Business.

In the following 5 years, she conducted many consultancy projects such as Organisational Structuring, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits Management, established bonus systems for sales teams. She conducted training programs such as Teamwork, Management Skills, Time and Meeting Management, Presentation Techniques, Performance Management, Compensation Management.

She also worked as Organizational Development Manager in a multimedia company, focusing on functions such as recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits management, budget management, investor presentations, human resources procedures, and training

Gulriz has been managing many human resources and management consultancy projects since 2015 and continues to provide trainings on various topics.

Gulriz has bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and master’s degree in Behavioural Sciences from the Washington University. She continues her PHD in Human Resources Management.

AYDAN CALBAS

Aydan started her career in Arcelik(Beko) and worked as an expert engineer in production planning, inventory control, purchasing, and strategic planning.

During this period, she took part in the certification processes of “Total Quality Management”, “ISO 9000”, “ISO 14000”, worked as the Lead Quality Auditor and led the process development projects. She took an active part in the identification, implementation and training of the purchasing and strategic planning processes.

After deciding to work people-oriented, she continued her career as an HR manager. She led projects in the fields of organisational development studies, industrial relations, competency assessment, recruitment, performance management designs, identification and development of employees with management potential.

She is a certified coach and also an accredited assessment / development center assessor.

Aydan has bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

ARZU BALCI CEVIK

During her 20 years of corporate experience, she worked as a Senior HR Business Partner in consumer services, supply chain, R&D, purchasing, finance and technology functions.

Her areas of expertise: Organisational development, Human Resources planning, talent acquisition, performance management and compensation and grade analysis.

Arzu is also an accredited assessment and development center assessor.

She has bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
